3 Days
Day 1
We catch our AMTRAK train this morning for our scenic
coastal ride to San Luis Obispo. The train will stop en route in
Ventura and Santa Barbara. Once in San Luis Obispo, we'll tour to
our hotel. Dinner tonight is at the always fun F. McLintocks Saloon
& Dining House.
Day 2
After breakfast, we'll take a short
picturesque drive to San Simeon where the world famous Hearst
Castle is
located. You'll have your choice of tours 1, 2, 3, or 4: each of
which are very interesting and different. We'll then board the
Tigers Folly II for our one hour sightseeing cruise on Morro
Bay. Then it's
off to the quaint village of Cambria where you'll have time
for shopping, strolling, and sightseeing through the shops and art
galleries.
Day 3
After breakfast, we'll visit Solvang where we'll have time to
browse before our included lunch. On our return home, we'll pass
Lake Cachuma and briefly drive through lovely Santa Barbara. We'll
return home with many fond memories of our Rail 'n Sail Tour along
the California Coast, some of the most beautiful real estate
anywhere!
