We will leave Southern
California, this morning, and head for the scenic California coast.
Traveling past Oxnard and Ventura, we will make a stop for lunch (on
your own) in
Santa Barbara.
Then, it's up Highway 101 to the
beach cities of the California Coast.

2

- Steinbeck Museum

We'll tour up Highway 101, today.
En route, we'll visit the John Steinbeck Museum in Salinas. It's
amazing just how prolific he was as an author and
screenwriter.

3

- Great Gilroy Garlic Festival
- Tour Monterey
Area
Bring your breath freshener today
as we will be spending the morning at the Great Gilroy Garlic
Festival, certain to be a splendid time for all!
We'll tour through the quaint
towns of Carmel, Pacific Grove, and Monterey, this afternoon, as we
view the seals, sea lions, otters, and world-famous coast line. One
of our stops will be at the Natural History Museum in Pacific
Grove.

Home
We will reluctantly return home,
today, as we head to the famous Danish community of Solvang.
This afternoon, we will tour past Lake Cachuma and through the
mountains for a spectacular view of Santa Barbara. We'll never
forget the Great Gilroy Garlic Festival and the other pleasures of
Central California
